NC Democrats’ parity in Congress delegation may be fleeting and short-lived.
The next two years will be a referendum on congressional party leadership. Democrats are eager to build support among independents. Republicans must persuade voters that it’s time for a bold new approach to fix health care and cut taxes for the middle class.
Democrats now have a real shot at winning a majority, but their leadership could get in a lot of trouble if they give in to voters who think the party lacks a clear vision.
The midterm election will be a referendum on which Congress party has best served the country.
