A television producer and writer who was best known for the hit sitcom Schitt’s Creek has died of cancer at the age of 47.

Alan Feigin was a prolific and prolifically prolific producer who received four Daytime Emmys for writing and producing, among other television credits.

Over the course of his more than two decades in the industry, Feigin was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed writing articles about natural history, traveling and hiking.
