Taylor Swift's 2015 Tour Rescheduled for November 21

More bad news for Swifties: Ticketmaster cancels Friday on-sale for Taylor’s Eras tour

After announcing a few last minute changes to the lineup for its 2015 Summer tour — including an alternate opening act for Taylor Swift — Ticketmaster has backtracked on one of those changes, announcing it will not sell on-sale tickets for the U.S. and Canadian tour.

The show will be rescheduled for November 21 at the Rogers Centre (which is being refurbished) under the headline “Eras Live at the 2015 TURTLE NATION concert experience.” The date would be the second to last night of the four-night tour to take place at the Rogers Centre, after Swift canceled the North American dates in support of 1989 over the summer to focus on the fall and Winter singles releases.

As the Daily Mail reports, the change in plans may have been made for Taylor’s sake. Back when this tour was announced, Swift wrote on Twitter, “I can’t make this tour, but I’m going to be taking a break from touring for a little while to figure things out. I’m doing this for me, and I’m going to do the best I can with the time I have while I’m not there.” At the time, she also revealed she would be taking a week off from performing, before resuming again in late November.

If this was Taylor’s plan, she must be wondering if she really pulled off that trick. It’s hard to imagine a more unfulfilling way to end a tour than to let all of the fans get to see Taylor perform in concert, but for some reason it looks like Swift actually chose to cancel the tour on her own terms.
