about-winwabWinwab.com is a combination of two names, Erwin [Pagong] and Celes [Wabbit]. Erwin is fond of writing but has frequently done grammatical errors. Inorder to avoid such errors in writing, he needs to team-up with his girlfriend, Celes the Wabbit. His Wabbit is exceptional in English grammar. Even this article was edited by her.

So, they both decided to create combinations of domains such as Erwin and Celes, Celes and Erwin, ErwinCeles, CelesErwin, Celwin, WinCel, Pagong At Rabbit, Rabbit at Pagong, Mahal kong Rabbit, Mahal kong Pagong, Ang Pagong At Rabbit, kishlang, kisslang, pakiss all in the dot coms. They bought realized that it is so hard to think of a domain.

Finally, both thought of using “Winwab.com” as their domain. “T’was a wacky name, seriously!”, Erwin said when I interviewed him over the phone. “Be [chatting with his girlfriend while thinking of the domain, winwab], okay na kaya ‘to? Sa tingin mo?” which means “Babe, is it okay to be called as Winwab?”, he added.

To make it more interesting, Winwab.com [W.I.N.W.A.B.] stands for “Writing Instant News  With A Blog“.
